Tuesday 3rd December marked our first ever annual get together for Staffroom Education, and we’re pleased to announce that it was definitely a success.

A huge thank you to Supply Teacher for launching ‘Supply for lunch’, a campaign that aimed to bring all teachers together whilst tucking in to their dinner. It was this that initially gave us the idea to organise our very own ‘supply for supper’, in turn introducing us to all of our wonderful teachers as well as giving them a chance to meet one another. The afternoon was full of festivities, refreshments and food not only to spread Christmas cheer but to give each and every one of us a chance to swap stories, catch up and talk about how our day in general had gone. We understand that supply can sometimes be a particularly lonely job role, with no time to stop and chat with other co-workers, and with this in mind we made it our sole aim to make sure that everyone had the chance to sit down, relax and enjoy other teachers company.

We would like to thank everyone that came, as well as all of our teachers in general for doing such a fantastic job, we'll see you all again in the new year!
