CV - those two small letters with so much importance! As an aspiring teaching assistant, your CV is more than just a summary of your education, skills, and experience. Your CV is the very first step in the recruitment process, and paves the way for the next steps. Start with a Perfect Personal Statement: This is your 'Hello, this is me' moment. Summarize who you are, your teaching philosophy, and why you're the right fit for the role in 2-3 sentences. This is an opportunity to show your personality, recruiters see so many CV’s in a day so make sure yours stand out.

Relevant Experience: Relevant being the key word here! Your should detail your past experience. But not all of it in too much detail! Stick to what's relevant—experience in education, tutoring, child care, mentoring. This includes voluntary work too!

Skills? Check!: List the skills that make you a great teaching assistant. Are you a whizz at organisation? A pro at clear communication? List your most relevant skills, try not too list too many!
