What to buy your teachers for Christmas

Now that it’s December, it’s officially time to start thinking about Christmas presents, although no judgement if you’ve already started your Christmas shopping, we admire your organisation.

It can be really hard to know what to buy people for Christmas, especially when we’re in the middle of a cost of living crisis, so here’s some inspiration for what to buy for your teachers this year that won’t break the bank.

1) Stationery

We know that this might be a popular one, so you may not be the only one buying Miss Jones a set of highlighters, but hey, teachers can never have too much stationery, especially when so much of it seems to go mysteriously missing…

2) Foodie gifts

This one can be a bit trickier because of allergies and dietary requirements, plus knowing what kind of food people like, but gifts like a box of chocolates is always a nice gesture. Perhaps think about staying away from anything with nuts in just to be safe though.

3) Mugs

If you think that a ‘Best Teacher Ever’ mug is a bit too cliché, then a nice, simple mug is still a lovely present idea. Many teachers drink tea and coffee, so mugs will always be in demand.

4) Pamper pack

Think bath bombs and face masks. Teachers work incredibly hard and will be in need of some rest and recuperation over the Christmas holidays, so any kind of gifts relating to pampering are likely to be greatly appreciated.

5) 2023 calendar/planner

There are so many different styles of calendars and planners, that even if someone else has this idea too, it can still be a unique gift personal to the teacher. Dog calendar anyone?

So there you have it, 5 ideas to help you decide what to buy your teachers this year. Alternatively, a thoughtful Christmas card is a lovely gesture too - after all, you may not fancy buying presents for all of your teachers!
