Staffroom Education are currently shortlisting for HLTA’s or LSA’s to work within our Nurseries and Primary schools in Cardiff and Newport.
We welcome applications from those who have the relevant qualifications or experience working with children.
The ideal candidate will need to have the ability to promote positive attitudes towards learning, motivate and inspire pupils from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.

As a HLTA / LSA you will possess the following skills:
Support the classroom teacher and staff;
Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies;
Excellent communicational skills;
A passion for promoting positive attitudes towards learning;
The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and pupils;
Have a positive, supportive attitude and be empathetic in nature;
To remain up to date with educational developments and changes whilst undertaking the role;
Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection;
Attendance of curricular and extra-curricular events in line with school policy;
A current and clear, fully-enhanced DBS disclosure certificate;
Full registration with the Education Workforce Council.
