Staffroom Education are an Education-based Recruitment Agency located in Cardiff Bay. As part of our growth plans for 2022, we are delighted to be recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our dynamic and lively team on a full-time basis.
We pride ourselves on a culture of team-working, so are looking for someone with great people skills and a very strong work ethic.
This role will involve recruiting new candidates for the company, as well as building and maintaining relationships with existing candidates. You will receive training and support from our dedicated team of consultants, so a background in recruitment is not essential.
You will be responsible for:
Sourcing new candidates online, over the phone, and in person
Maintaining relationships and communicating with existing candidates
Assessing suitability of prospective candidates both in person and over the phone
Building and maintaining a good relationship with local schools
Matching candidates with appropriate schools based on their needs
Acting as a point of communication between candidates and schools
Making and answering phone calls
Undertaking general admin duties
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
Excellent communications skills
A confident telephone manner
A positive attitude and sense of humour
Self-motivation
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Baking skills are a bonus – we love office snacks!
