Back to Business!

It’s been a while… and what a crazy few months it’s been! It’s safe to say that we’re following the easing of lockdown like we’ve been hibernating in a cave for months or slowly waking up from a really bad hangover! Alas, we are slowly getting back to as much normality as is possible armed with hand sanitiser and imaginary 2-meter measuring tapes attached to us! *Keep your distance*

As for the Staffroom Team, since the re-opening of schools on the 29th June we’ve been slowly but surely easing ourselves back in to getting into the swing of things, whether that be in the office or at home. We’ve been catching up with schools and candidates figuring out how we are going to move forward through this never ending, very strange time. At the moment, schools are working hard to give every child the opportunity to catch up and prepare before the summer holidays using the staff they have to hand. But following the announcement from the Welsh Education Minister last week, schools have already been in touch with bookings for the Autumn term. So, we are planning for a busy term for our supply staff and schools when the summer holidays are over.

The holidays will feel a bit different to usual for the most of us, but hopefully they will be a chance for parents, children and school staff to fully relax before we start all of the craziness all over again. The Staffroom team will be around all summer to making sure everything is set up and ready to go in September. Our summer will consist of making up lost time of office fun! Keep up to date with our socials for pupdates (if you haven’t seen already, we have an adorable new addition to the team so you don’t want to miss out on that) sweet treats and of course, new roles!
