Did you know that it's Children's Mental Health Week?

This week, 7th - 13th February 2022 is Children’s Mental Health Week, so we wanted to let you know how you can get involved! CMHW was launched by children’s mental health charity Place2Be in 2015 to highlight the importance of children and young people’s mental health. This year, the week’s theme is “Growing Together” which aims to encourage children and young people (as well as adults) to think about how they have grown and how to help others grow.

So, here’s how you can help and get involved!

1) Raise awareness

By spreading the word about Children’s Mental Health Week, we can help to get the message out there that mental health matters and should always be a priority. Head on over to Place2Be’s CMHW website to download images to post on social media! https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/get-involved/

2) Download a fundraising pack

For arts and crafts, fun photo booth props, plus activities and worksheets, why not download Place2Be’s CMHW fundraising packs for a whole lot of fundraising fun? https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/fundraising-pack/

3) Get involved with Dress to Express

Dress to Express is an opportunity to wear a colourful outfit for the day and donate £2 to Place2Be. This is a great way to have fun, raise awareness, and fundraise for a fantastic cause, so why not get involved and host a Dress to Express day at school or with your friends, family, or colleagues?

Be sure to take a look at all of the fantastic resources on offer on Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week website, and let us know how you get involved! https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/
