It's Chriiiiiiiiiiiistmas!

We are here, we have arrived, and we have no idea how, what, when or where because it is definitely still March isn’t it!?

The last week of the Autumn term is here and the least festive in the history of Decembers. This year will be one that will not ever shift from our memory (as hard as we will try to forget it), we know that most of us will be vigorously waving goodbye to 2020 and welcoming 2021 with wide, wide, wide open arms!

Although we could go on all day (or year) about the big fat fail of a year this has been, it is important to make sure we reflect on how we have all managed to get to this point. Back in March, when the first cases were reported in Wales, we had no idea what December would look like. Schools were closed, parents were working their socks off from home to ensure their children were not missing out on their education and teaching staff were figuring out working from home. But we are here, schools have pushed through and ensured this academic year has been as normal as possible for pupils. It is safe to say that this year we have all shown qualities that we had no idea we had, and that is something we should never forget.

From us, it is a thank you for persevering to this point. Friday is just around the corner, so get ready to fill yourself with your favourite Christmas treats, sleep lots and give yourself a well and truly earned break!

If you need anything during the Christmas holidays, do not hesitate to call, email or text.

Merry Christmas, love Staffroom x
