It's (nearly) the most wonderful time of the year...

We know that we may be dividing opinions here by talking about Christmas in November, but hear us out. The Cardiff Christmas Markets start today (Thursday 10th November), and that’s got us feeling pretty festive. Not only does visiting the markets feel so nice and Christmas-y, it’s also a great opportunity to support local businesses, not to mention a fantastic place to start your Christmas shopping (unless you’re like certain Staffroom team members who started all of that around March).

Whilst you’re in the city centre for the markets, make sure to head over to Cardiff’s Festive Quarter on Working Street for a beer and a bratwurst too.

We’re also not far from Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland opening for 2022 - pop Tuesday 15th November in your diaries! Don’t worry if you prefer to wait until December to start the festivities though, as it’ll be around until Sunday 8th January.

Swansea’s Winter Wonderland will also be returning on 19th November and staying open until Christmas Eve. There’s the opportunity to meet Santa for the children, and mulled wine for the parents!

Plus, Christmas at Bute Park will also be returning this year from 24th November until 1st January, so make sure to get your tickets for the mesmerising light trail.

So, it’s safe to say that there’s plenty going on to get us all in the festive spirit. Plus, there are only 6 weeks to go until the schools break up for the Christmas holidays!
