New Staff Member Alert: Meet Kirsten!
That’s right, we have a new addition to the Staffroom team, and her name is Kirsten! Kirsten has come on board as our Sales Support Assistant, so expect to hear her voice on the phones very soon. We wanted to have a catch up with Kirsten to find out how her first few days have been, and to discover a bit more about her.
So, tell us a bit about yourself
I am originally from Maidstone in Kent but have fallen in love with South Wales since starting to study at Cardiff University a few years ago. I graduated with a degree in Human Geography this summer and am excited to get stuck into my new position at Staffroom Education.
How have your first few days with Staffroom been?
Great! The team have been really welcoming and the office-dog, Kira, hasn’t distracted me too much! I am looking forward to meeting new candidates and speaking with schools.
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
I love the great outdoors and anything that gets me exploring out in the fresh air. Camping, surfing, climbing, kayaking! If I’m not enjoying music and food in Cardiff city, you’ll find me on the waves at Rest Bay or up the mountain path on Pen y Fan.
And finally, as we’re all a little bit food obsessed, what is your favourite food?
Anything chocolate! Chocolate digestive biscuits, hot chocolate, chocolate cake – chocolate fountains!
So there you have it, it looks like whoever picks Kirsten in the Secret Santa will know what to buy her…chocolate or a kayak!
