Did you know that you can work with Staffroom Education during your studies?

We work with loads of students across South Wales to find flexible work opportunities within nurseries and schools in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea, so they can earn during their studies. Not only are you earning that extra bit of cash to support you through your degree, but you’re also gaining great experience and gaining a variety of skills that will be transferable to whatever career path you are planning to go down!

How does it work?

First of all you will need to register your interest in working within education. You can do this by giving us a call on 02920 496 646, emailing info@staffroomeducation.co.uk, messaging us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) or filling out your details here: https://www.staffroomeducation.co.uk/find-your-perfect-role

1. Once we have received your enquiry, we will discuss your past experience, your current availability and work preferences and our current available roles that we think would be best suited to you. 

2. Then, we will invite you into our office to complete our registration including an application form, DBS application, EWC (Education Workforce Council) application and to meet the team in person!

3. We then wait until your DBS has been issued and your work references have been returned to us, once those are complete we can start offering you work.

4. Each week we will contact you to find out which days you are available the following week, and only contact you with booking requests on the days you have confirmed to be free!

5. And that’s that, once you have a confirmed booking you will receive a booking confirmation email with all of the information you need to get to the school, who to ask for upon arrival and a breakdown of your responsibilities for the day. And even better, you’ll get paid the following week!
