Staffroom Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Cardiff. We have a variety of day-to-day, part-time and full-time roles available.


Role Requirements:

  • Some recent experience working with children in a professional capacity, for example: volunteering at your local school, church group or community group, sports coaching, mentoring or similar

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare the classroom before class 

  • Tidy the classroom at the end of each class 

  • Support the teacher when needed 

  • Support reading groups 

  • Help with group activities 

  • Provide one to one support as well as working within small groups 

  • Help with administrative tasks 

  • Provide feedback to the teacher on the pupil’s progress 

  • To be aware of the planning and preparation of work 

  • To assist with the development of basic Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills.
