Teach of PE – Monmouthshire

Staffroom Education Ltd are currently shortlisting for a Teacher of Physical Education vacancy within a Secondary School in Monmouthshire. If you are a qualified PE specialist and hold either QTS or a post-compulsory qualification, then we would love to hear from you.

Starting immediately, this is a full-time position until the end of the academic year, teaching KS3,4 & 5 within a vibrant 11-18 English medium Secondary school in Monmouthshire. The school seeks to ensure that each student within their care achieves their full potential academically, as well as developing into individuals capable of being successful in the future, whatever it may bring. The person specification for this role recommends a determined and passionate subject Teacher of PE with the ability to develop, encourage and inspire learning at their core.

The Teacher of PE role requirements include:

  • A first-class subject knowledge across Key Stages 3,4 & 5;

  • Excellent communication and classroom management strategies;

  • A passion for raising student expectations and achievement;

  • The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and pupils;

  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection;

  • Attendance of curricular and extra-curricular events in line with school policy;

  • A current and clear, fully enhanced DBS disclosure certificate;

  • Full registration with the Education Workforce Council.
