School Administrator
Staffroom Education are looking for School Administrators to start work in secondary schools in Newport, Cardiff and Swansea. The roles will be part-time or full-time and will begin ASAP. Applicants must have experience working in a similar role.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Undertaking reception duties, answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors
Assisting with student first aid/welfare duties, looking after sick students, liaising with parents/staff etc
Assisting with arrangements for school trips, events, etc
Providing general clerical/administrative support, e.g. photocopying, filing, completion of forms, respond to routine correspondence
Operating relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets)
Role Requirements:
Previous experience in clerical, administrative, or financial work
Ability to effectively use ICT packages, including spreadsheets
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate well to children and adults
