New year, new team member.

Say hello to Catrin Davies, our wonderful Trainee Accounts Manager, exciting right?! With 2014 being so busy and rewarding, we thought it was about time we opened our doors to a brand new face, so we've done just that. She will be the brains behind our brand new LSA desk and will work hand in hand with us here in the office to meet, greet and place new staff. Here at Staffroom we love to make sure that you're all properly introduced, after all, it's important to us that you know who you're talking to...

How has your first week at Staffroom been?

First week has been really exciting but I haven’t felt out of my depths at all. Everyone has been really welcoming and I’m looking forward to sinking my teeth into more projects.

What do you think you will bring to the company?

I will bring an energetic and vibrant approach as I feel I am very personable. I'm also professional and hardworking so I hope to help extend and maximise business for the company. On my first day in the office it was pretty obvious that my passion for food was also shared with everyone else, so I too think I'll be bringing in a keen eye for all things sweet.

Are you wearing socks right now?!

I am wearing socks now, they are black, quite thick and have silver thread running through them. Winter warmers.

Where do you hope to be in five years?

I really hope to have established a career in the recruitment sector and love what I do. This is all new to me so I'm looking forward to taking on new challenges and making a name for myself. On a personal level, I'd love to be living in my first owned home with two very cool companions... dogs.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge?

It would have to be learning and taking on all the information you need to know about the education system. When starting on a new career path it's always a little nerve-wracking, but it's all good practice, I'd definitely say I'm ready for what Staffroom has to offer!

What keeps you busy outside of the office?

Cooking and eating out. Like I mentioned before I love food, so I'm always busy in the kitchen. I'm also a massive lover of experiencing new things and adventure. I've travelled a lot in the past few years and I've enjoyed the journey, so I'm always keen for another!

And finally (we always keep the most important question until last) IF you could only have ONE meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?!

If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, I think it would have to be pepperoni pizza with chilli oil and peppers. BUT I would have to have it with tomato ketchup or I wouldn’t be able to eat it...
