#GradsLoveCardiff

It was a nice day for a nice day so we packed up and prepared for a busy afternoon at Cardiff University's Graduate Fair. The student union provided a fantastic setting for 600 students, plenty of businesses and freebies galore, not to mention the complimentary welsh cakes that were on offer (because they are vital fuel for a few hours of chatting).

We were the newbies of the bunch but we're mightily impressed with the organisation and helpfulness of staff, there was a great buzz to the event and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. These types of fairs offer a wide variety of individuals that aren't just interested in Teaching so it was really good for us to get involved in something a little different that still provided great benefits. We didn't waste any time getting stuck in and before we knew it we were signing up great students left, right and centre - hurrah!

Not only are these types of days a beneficial way of companies meeting new faces, they also give graduates a chance to ask questions, hand CVs out and get to grips on what's potentially out there for them when they finish. It's important that everyone leaves university behind feeling confident about their future, so all in all it was great to offer advice and give feedback to those who wanted to get their foot in the door.

With the visit proving to be a massive success, we can't wait to continue to meet fantastic potential Teachers.

Thank you for inviting us Cardiff University, we'll see you again soon!
